You can still help all of our neighbors devestaded by Hurricane Irene through The Rutland Salvation Army. They have set up a "Hurricane Disaster Relief Headquarters" at the old Smith Buick building on Route 7 South in
Rutland where you can drop off donations. Or contact The Red Cross of Vermont to help the families across the state devastated by Irene by clicking here.
And don't forget that the people of Japan still have a long road ahead of them before things can return to a normal way of life. The Drive urges you to help by making a contribution to the people of our sister city in Japan, Hanamaki--Ishidoriya. Tax-deductible charitable contributions to Ishidoriya-Hanamaki disaster relief may be sent to: Hanamaki Relief Fund, % City Treasurer, P.O. Box 969, Rutland, VT 05702-0969. Checks should be made out to “Hanamaki Relief Fund”.
